The iPhone 15 Pro: New color options and robust titanium frame
Summary
- The iPhone 15 Pro models are slated to receive a titanium frame for the first time, as opposed to a stainless steel one.
- Apple plans to introduce new color options, including a deep blue, silver grey, and a natural titanium shade.
- Gold will not be an available color for the iPhone 15 Pro models.
It seems that Apple is planning a robust upgrade for the iPhone 15 Pro. As we learnt back in July, Apple is intending to introduce a titanium frame for the first time, replacing the usual stainless steel. Our trustworthy source, Unknownz21, also briefed us about Apple's plans for a new deep blue colour option.
9to5Mac also confirms today that the tech giant will not only be introducing a new deep blue, but also silver, space black and a natural titanium shade. And the speculations about a dark red iPhone 15 Pro? They turned out to be unfounded, as Apple seems to only offer these cool hues.
Moreover, Apple appears to not be launching a golden iPhone 15 Pro or Pro Max this year. The gold variant was previously popular in countries like China and was part of the set color options.
The standard iPhone 15 models are expected to be available in colours such as black, green, blue, yellow, and pink. This aligns with previous rumors, as confirmed by 9to5Mac.
In September, we'll be able to have a first look at the color options for the iPhone 15. Rumour has it that Apple plans an event on Tuesday, September 12.
In Short
The iPhone 15 Pro will witness some exciting changes, including the transition to a more resilient titanium frame. New color options, including a deep blue hue, will give the iPhone 15 Pro an invigorating look. The standard models will offer a wide assortment of vibrant color choices. Unfortunately, the popular gold will not be available in the Pro version. We look forward to witnessing these new changes in September and learning more details once Apple officially announces its plans.
